Band Of The Month June 2018 "Godfathers Of Funk"

Formed in Townsville in 2002, the GodFathers have been gigging continuously over those 16 years in various shapes and forms, with the mainstay Jeff Jimmieson steering the ship from behind the kit. Joined now by the versatile Marty Shiel on sax, keys and vocals, Andy Tarnawski on bass and vocals and Cristi Jimmieson on lead guitar and vocals the band plays a wide choice of rock, r&b, funk, soul and music to dance to...even disco hits! Popular around the pub scene, the band also frocks up and plays corporate and glamour gigs and has supported some of the bigger touring artists and bands.
